🙏 Why Book Your Pitru Paksha Puja?

Pitru Paksha — also known as Mahalaya Paksha — is the most sacred 16-day period in the Hindu calendar to honor our ancestors and seek their blessings. Performing Shraddh, Tarpan, and Pind Daan with proper Vedic Vidhi ensures peace for departed souls and brings harmony, prosperity, and lineage blessings to the family.

According to the Garuda Purana and Markandeya Purana, during these 16 days the souls of ancestors descend from Pitru Loka to the earthly plane. Rituals performed with Shraddha (faith) during this period carry exceptional merit.

Whether you join us online from home or in person at Gaya, Varanasi, Prayagraj, or Haridwar, our experienced Vedic priests from Kashi perform each ritual authentically as per scriptures.

✨ Secure your family's blessings and carry forward the traditions that connect generations.

Significance of Pitru Paksha 2026 – According to Vedic Scriptures

According to the Garuda Purana and Markandeya Purana, every human being carries three debts at birth — Dev Rin, Rishi Rin, and Pitru Rin. Shraddh performed during Pitru Paksha is the prescribed Vedic method to repay Pitru Rin and ensure that one's lineage continues with blessings and prosperity.

The Mahabharata narrates the story of Karna to explain this period. When Karna's soul reached the divine realm after death, he was offered only gold and jewels as food — because in his lifetime he had never performed Shraddh for his ancestors. Indra then granted him 16 days to return to earth and perform the rituals. These 16 days became Pitru Paksha.

The Sarva Pitru Amavasya — 10 October 2026 — is the most powerful day of the entire fortnight. On this day, Shraddh can be performed for all ancestors, including those whose exact tithi of death is unknown. It is especially recommended for those who could not perform Shraddh on the correct tithi during the fortnight.

"Ayuh Prajam Dhanam Vidyam Svargam Moksham Sukhani Cha | Prayacchanti Tatha Rajyam Pitarah Shraddhatarpitah"
— Markandeya Purana: Long life, offspring, wealth, knowledge, heaven, liberation and happiness are granted by satisfied ancestors.
